Latest News...
It's official people - Melodyssey is locked in to record the follow up to 2003's Distance and Regret.
This will all be taking place on the 24th of April at Modern Music Studios in Brisbane. We'll have the help of Forrester Savell as producer who brought us Full Scale's Arrows ep's and more recently, Karnivool's stunne r- Themata
All this will take close to a month to do (12 songs in toatal) as we really want the songs to be given the time and care that we think they deserve. It looks as though we're heading for a late May/June release and subsequent tour up and down the East Coast and if we're really lucky, maybe Adelaide and WA as well!!
We'll be going independent on this record so it is a new beginning that we're all really, really excited about and we hope to see every one of our fans out on the road when we come through your town because we're bringing the levels people, bringing major levels!!!
I'll keep you posted on any developments and photo's from the studio as we go

its been there quite a long time now. i've been told their album is done. but that seems to have been the status for about 6 months now

I heard that the new album (called "The Two Windows") is pretty much complete, except something with the record label is holding back the release. I don't know details, but they will be gigging again fairly soon and I can try to find out more then.

I've just been listening to Distance & Regret lately and discovered I really like it.
It took me soooo long to get into, I remember buying the album years ago and not even listening to it the whole way through, but it's finally grown on me.

the first time i listened to it i wasn't to happy with it, except dissolve, that song ruled from the beginning, and the final song has neer fully agreed with me, but after about 3 listens i loved it.

I got back into Distance and Regret recently! re-addicted! lol
Lub the acoustic aquaplane hiding at the end! more than the original now.
Also theyre myspace has what seems to be another new track to listen to called Compromise
